I stepped into this white transit, I was impressed with its handsome interior. Nicely cushioned seats and neat surroundings complimented the whole structure. The fresh scent of air conditioning seeped into my nasals and triggered my brain to say “I like it here.”
All my co-office workers are busy chatting about last year’s tour or something related to that, then suddenly one of them shouted, “Hey Eric! Over Here! We reserved the best seat in the transit for you.” “Gee, Thanks!” I sat right beside this clear opaque window. “Somebody got us a nice ride. Say… What is the name of the Bus Company?” I asked. "Bel-Air Bus Charter Corporation". The Big Boss took care of it personally” they replied. “Speaking of Big Boss, where is she anyway?” I scanned the whole transit and I found her sitting at the back of the driver. The driver looks professional and well trained as he grasped the gear stick to give the whole bus a smooth start. The engine roared like a lion yet gentle as a house cat.
“There is something in my seat.” I said to myself as I reached for my butt. “Goodness, it is a remote. Now where is that TV?” I looked in front and there it is. A large flat screen monitor that can catch every eye. Curious of what is inside the DVD player I pushed the play button. “Indiana Jones! Perfect for the camping trip.” I told my buddies. Talk about cinematic sounds, the speakers of this vehicle was an outrage.
I heard of luxury bus services and this is surely one of them. I praise the Lord, for letting me raise my hand when one of my supervisors asked who is going in this camping trip a few weeks ago. Look at me, reclining on my seat without a care in the world. Watching as Harrison Ford gives the lovely lady a kiss. Gazing through the window every once in a while wondering where we are. Traffic? Go ahead take your time. I want this trip to last as long as it can get. I remembered one of my “visit to my home province” trips to kiss my mommy at least once a month. Where I was forced to ride one of those old chuggy busses typical of the transportation services present in the provinces. Believe me you will regret getting inside one of those. But not this one, this bus company rocks!
As I was busy relaxing myself, I noticed one of my buddies scanning through something. “Bernard! Don’t tell me you are still working. This is vacation, we are supposed to enjoy.” He is the Finance Officer of our company. Bernard replied, “I was just amazed how cheap and budget friendly this Bel-Air Bus Charter Corporation is. Look at this receipt.” I glanced through it and was shocked of what I just saw. “No kidding! It is this cheap.” I grabbed my phone and started dialing numbers. “What are you doing?” Bernard asked with astonishment. “Planning for our next month’s family retreat. Give me those Bel-Air contact numbers.”
